I kept this project a secret for over two years.
I’ve always wanted to create something of my own, but after a full day of work, I found it difficult to find the energy to continue programming on personal projects. I needed a break from coding. I’ve always been fascinated by geometric animal designs, so I decided to try my hand at it. However, it proved to be far more challenging than it seemed. Overcoming the numerous obstacles along the way took considerable time and effort, but I was determined to see this project through to completion.
My logo.
Board Cutting: Each piece of raw wood is meticulously cut to a standard size of 30x30cm.
Corner Rounding: Prioritizing both aesthetics and safety, the edges are delicately rounded.
Treatment and Varnishing: Ensuring durability, the boards undergo treatment to protect their wooden surface.
Logo Engraving: Utilizing laser technology, the logo is intricately engraved into the wood.
Polishing: Engaging multiple senses, the products are polished to provide a tactile delight.
Drilling Holes: Precision is paramount; each pin requires a meticulously drilled hole. The standard canvas accommodates 1369 pins.
Pin Preparation: The pins undergo meticulous preparation before they're ready for use.
Pin Insertion: Every pin is carefully inserted into its designated hole, ensuring a secure fit.
Photo Analysis and Enhancement: A high-quality photograph with sufficient facial detail is essential. Digital editing is employed to accentuate the subject's key features.
Portrait Weaving: With all preparatory steps complete, the intricate weaving of the portrait can finally commence.
